This is a wonderful studio pottery vase from Lillterrsjö Keramik in Sweden. The vase is inspired by the rock carvings found in Ångermanland and more specifically Nämforsen in Sweden. Birgitta Lind is the designer and many visitors to the Hällrist museum have fallen in love with her Viking style motifs.
These rock carvings were created during the early Stone Age into the older Bronze Age. People from all over the world visit these rune stones found in Scandinavia and are mystified by their beauty. The largest concentration of them is found in Sweden.
It stands 5.5" tall and is 5.5" at its widest.
This vase is in excellent condition with no signs of wear.
